Late Rental/Pickup will begin on Friday, December 7th, at the UC Davis Store - Memorial Union during normal business hours.
If you cannot pick up your order yourself, and wish to have someone else pickup your order for you, you can do so by using the Bookstore website to specify a pickup person. At any time, up until the graduation ceremony, you can specify a pickup person by going to "My Account", clicking on your graduation order and clicking on the "Specify Pickup Person" button near the bottom.
You will be provided with a gown return ticket when you pick up your gown. This ticket will help to facilitate a smooth return. Put either your student account number or your gown order number on the ticket and hand it back with your gown to avoid having to wait to log your information separately. A good rule of thumb is to tape the ticket to the inside of your cap.
Location: ARC plaza in front of the lobby. In the case of inclement weather the gowns will need to be returned inside the lobby.
When: immediately following the ceremony
After the ceremony date, gowns may be returned to the UC Davis Bookstore inside the Memorial Union. PLEASE NOTE: Gowns not returned immediately following the ceremony or to the UC Davis Bookstore by the first Monday following the ceremony will be assessed a daily late return fee beginning the following Tuesday.
Rental apparel must be returned in good condition. Rental apparel is not suitable to be worn in wet weather without protective gear. Neither the UC Davis Bookstore nor Herff-Jones Inc., will assume liability for damages as a result of such use. Failure to return apparel in the original condition (i.e. lost or damaged gowns) will result in being billed for replacement costs plus any applicable late fees. Rental apparel returned later than the first Monday following commencement will be assessed a late fee.
